Gau Tao festival is one of the most important festivals of the Mong people. The festival takes place in the period from the first day to the full moon day of January, for the purpose of praying for luck or fortune. If the association is held for three consecutive years, it will be held for 3 days each year, while the association that works together in a year will be held for 9 days. Gau Tao is the biggest festival, the most crowded and also the most unique rituals of the Mong people.

Long Tong Festival of the Tay ethnic group, a traditional folk festival held in the first days of January every year by local people to pray for favourable weather, good trees, good harvests and enough life. Therefore, right from the early morning, ethnic minorities will come in large numbers to participate in the festival. The festival is divided into two parts, the ceremony part and the festival part. 

Cap Sac Festival: In the traditional rituals of the Dao, there is a special festival called the Cap Sac festival or the Lap Tinh festival only for men, which is still preserved and maintained until now. The Dao people believe that if a man has not undergone the ceremony, he will still be considered a child even if he is old because he has not had a teacher, has not been granted a religious identity, and has not had a negative name. People who have passed the rank of Sac, although at a young age, are still considered as adults, are allowed to participate in important village affairs, and can assist the shaman to worship. The Ceremony is usually held in November, December or January every year, because this is the idle time.
