Delete Account
Version 1.0 — Effective 1 September 2026
You can delete your Localis account and all associated personal data at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason, using either method below.
Method 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
Open the Localis app.
Go to Profile.
Tap About & legal.
Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately after confirmation.
Method 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, send an email from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We may verify your identity for your protection and will complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.

What will be deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered:
- Account and profile information (display name, email, profile photo, personalization interests)
- Ask Localis conversation history, including voice recordings and images you submitted
- Saved places and collections
- Trips you created (Build my trip)
Some data may be retained for a statutory period where required by law (for example, to resolve an ongoing dispute); such data is stored separately with restricted access and deleted when the period expires.
Notes
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Please use one of the methods above.
- After deletion you may sign up again at any time, but previous data cannot be restored.
