The museum was founded in 1988 on the occasion of the 100th birthday anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang to honor his great contributions to the cause of national liberation. Unlike museums that recreate general urban history, this space focuses on portraying a simple man with a steely will.

- Opening Hours: 7:30 – 11:30 | 13:00 – 17:00 (Tuesday to Sunday).
- Ticket Price: Completely free of charge.
- Scale: 5 permanent exhibition rooms and 1 special short-term exhibition room across 700m², featuring over 17,000 precious artifacts, images, and documents.

- Travel Back in Time to the Viet Bac Resistance Base: Explore the model of the stilt house and the simple daily items used by Uncle Ton during his years in the ATK (Safe Zone), offering a sense of closeness as if visiting the home of a familiar grandfather.
- Feel Resilience through "15 Years in Con Dao Prison": The stories and artifacts from his time imprisoned in "Hell on Earth" serve as the most vivid evidence of the revolutionary soldier's indomitable spirit.
