Description
Open from April 23 to May 12, 2026, the large-scale art photography exhibitions themed "Vietnam - A Strip of Mountains and Rivers" and "HCMC Echoes the Song of Triumph Forever" officially welcome the public. Stretching across the most bustling pedestrian streets, the event features hundreds of outstanding photographs that authentically and emotionally depict the beauty of the nation's borders, seas, and islands, as well as the city's dynamic development.
The exhibition series is a key cultural and political event celebrating a series of monumental historical milestones: the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), the 140th International Labor Day (May 1), the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19), and the 115th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (June 5). Notably, the event also marks the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh being officially named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026).
More than just an art display, the exhibition serves as a bridge connecting the past, present, and future. The photographs awaken national pride, help the younger generation appreciate the value of peace, and promote to international friends the image of a friendly, peaceful Vietnam and a dynamic, culturally rich Ho Chi Minh City.
